Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1303

[1303] For whomever in whatever place the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) did not arise, for that one in that place the femininity faculty (itthindriya) will not arise? Yes (āmantā). Or rather, for whomever in whatever place the femininity faculty will not arise, for that one in that place the eye faculty did not arise? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and for those males who, in that very same state, will pass through some number of existences and then attain final Nibbāna — for them in that place the femininity faculty will not arise, yet it is not the case that for them in that place the eye faculty did not arise. For those of the pure abodes (suddhāvāsa), for the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), and for the formless beings (arūpa) — for them in that place both the femininity faculty will not arise and the eye faculty did not arise.
