Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 814

[814] For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) has never arisen, for that one, there, has the nose-faculty (ghānindriya) never arisen? Yes (āmantā). Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the nose-faculty has never arisen, for that one, there, has the eye-faculty never arisen? For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara): for them, there, the nose-faculty has never arisen, but it is not the case that, for them, there, the eye-faculty has never arisen. For beings of the pure abodes (suddhāvāsa), for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), and for formless beings (arūpa): for them, there, both the nose-faculty has never arisen and the eye-faculty has never arisen.
