Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1302

[1302] For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) did not arise, will the nose-faculty (ghānindriya) not arise for that one there? Yes (āmantā). Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the nose-faculty will not arise, did the eye-faculty not arise for that one there? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) and for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara): for them, there, the nose-faculty will not arise, but it is not the case that for them, there, the eye-faculty did not arise. For beings of the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa), for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), and for formless beings (arūpa): for them, there, both the nose-faculty will not arise and the eye-faculty did not arise.
