Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 832

[832] For whomever, wherever, the life faculty (jīvitindriya) has never arisen, has the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) … the faith faculty (saddhindriya), the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) never arisen for that one there? Yes (āmantā). Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty has never arisen, has the life faculty never arisen for that one there? For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the mind faculty has never arisen for them there, but it is not the case that the life faculty has never arisen for them there. For beings of the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa), at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the rebirth mind (upapatticitta), both the mind faculty has never arisen for them there and the life faculty has never arisen for them there.
