[859] For whomever the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) will arise, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for that one?
Yes (āmantā).
Or rather, for whomever the mind faculty will arise, will the masculinity faculty arise for that one?
Those who, having been reborn in the fine-material sphere (rūpāvacara) or the immaterial sphere (arūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), and those women who, in that very state, having appeared in some number of existences, will attain final Nibbāna — for them the mind faculty will arise, but the masculinity faculty will not arise for them; for the others, both the mind faculty will arise and the masculinity faculty will arise.
