[860] For whom the life faculty (jīvitindriya) will arise, will the joy faculty (somanassindriya) arise for him?
Immediately after whose mind (citta) the final mind associated with equanimity (upekkhāsampayutta-pacchimacitta) will arise — for them the life faculty will arise, but the joy faculty will not arise for them; for the others, both the life faculty will arise and the joy faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whom the joy faculty will arise, will the life faculty arise for him?
