[907] For whomever, wherever, the nose faculty (ghānindriya) will arise, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arise for that one there?
Those possessed of the nose (saghānaka) who, having been reborn with joy (somanassa), will attain final Nibbāna — for them, there, the nose faculty will arise, but the equanimity faculty will not arise for them there. For the other beings of the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) — for them, there, both the nose faculty will arise and the equanimity faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the equanimity faculty will arise, will the nose faculty arise for that one there?
For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara) — for them, there, the equanimity faculty will arise, but the nose faculty will not arise for them there. For beings of the sense sphere — for them, there, both the equanimity faculty will arise and the nose faculty will arise.
