[936] For whom the nose-faculty (ghānindriya) will not arise, will the life-faculty (jīvitindriya) not arise for him?
Those who, having been reborn in the form-sphere (rūpāvacara) or the formless-sphere (arūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna — for them the nose-faculty will not arise, yet it is not the case that the life-faculty will not arise for them. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), both the nose-faculty will not arise and the life-faculty will not arise.
Or rather, for whom the life-faculty will not arise, will the nose-faculty not arise for him?
