Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (1) · Vol. 40 · Section 1439

[1439] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya), there arises a phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging: not by immediacy condition (na anantara-paccayā) … not by contiguity condition (na samanantara-paccayā), not by mutuality condition (na aññamañña-paccayā), not by decisive-support condition (na upanissaya-paccayā), not by prenascence condition (na purejāta-paccayā), not by postnascence condition (na pacchājāta-paccayā), not by repetition condition (na āsevana-paccayā). In dependence on a phenomenon that is not clung-to and not subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya), there arises a phenomenon that is not clung-to and not subject to clinging: not by repetition condition — in dependence on one resultant (vipāka) aggregate (khandha) that is not clung-to and not subject to clinging, three aggregates [arise]. (Abbreviated.)
