[1440] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya), there arises a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging: not by kamma condition (na-kamma-paccayā). That is: dependent on aggregates that are not clung to but subject to clinging, there arises volition (cetanā) that is not clung to but subject to clinging. External (bāhira) … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … dependent on one temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) primary element (mahābhūta).
