[1466] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya), a phenomenon that is not clung-to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) arises, not by kamma condition (na-kamma-paccayā): conditioned by the base (vatthu), volition (cetanā) that is not clung-to but subject to clinging [arises].
Conditioned by a phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging, a phenomenon that is not clung-to and not subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) arises, not by kamma condition: conditioned by the base, wholesome (kusala) volition that is not clung-to and not subject to clinging [arises].
