[1424] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya), a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging arises by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): dependent on one aggregate that is not clung to but subject to clinging, [there arise] three aggregates and mind-originated materiality (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); dependent on one primary element (mahābhūta) … ; dependent on the primary elements, [there arises] mind-originated materiality that is derivative materiality (upādā-rūpa).
