[1435] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to but favorable to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya), a phenomenon that is not clung to but favorable to clinging arises, not by way of root condition (na-hetupaccayā):
Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) that is not clung to but favorable to clinging, three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arise; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates and mind-originated form arise; dependent on one primary element (mahābhūta) that is not clung to but favorable to clinging … dependent on the primary elements, mind-originated form, derivative form (upādā-rūpa), arise; external (bāhira) [form] … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) [form] … temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) [form]: dependent on one primary element … dependent on the primary elements, derivative form arises; dependent on the aggregates accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), the delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, arises.
