[1436] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) and a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya), a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging arises, not by root condition (na-hetu-paccayā): dependent on rootless (ahetuka) aggregates (khandhā) that are clung to and subject to clinging, and on the great essentials (mahābhūta), mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arises].
