[1479] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung-to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not clung-to but subject to clinging by root condition (hetu-paccaya): Roots (hetū) that are not clung-to but subject to clinging are a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttaka-khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by root condition.
