[1498] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung-to and not favorable to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) is a condition, by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is not clung-to and not favorable to clinging.
The successively preceding aggregates (khandhā) that are not clung-to and not favorable to clinging are a condition, by immediacy condition, for the successively subsequent aggregates that are not clung-to and not favorable to clinging; the path (magga) is a condition for fruition (phala), and fruition is a condition for fruition, by immediacy condition.
