[1531] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not clung-to and not subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya). Base-prenascence (vatthu-purejāta): the base (vatthu) is a condition for the aggregates (khandhā) that are not clung-to and not subject to clinging by prenascence condition.
