[1532] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya).
Object-prenascence (ārammaṇa-purejāta): One contemplates with insight forms that are not clung to but subject to clinging … … sounds … odours … tastes … tangible objects as impermanent, as suffering (dukkha), as not-self; one delights in them. With that as object, lust (rāga) arises, grief arises. With the divine eye (dibbacakkhu) one sees a form that is not clung to but subject to clinging; with the divine ear element (dibbā sotadhātu) one hears a sound.
