[1647] A phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) and a phenomenon that is neither clung-to nor subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) [are conditions] for a phenomenon that is clung-to and subject to clinging: by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), by faculty condition (indriya-paccaya).
