[1649] A phenomenon that is not clung to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) and a phenomenon that is not clung to and not subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) — [these] phenomena (dhammā) — [are a condition] for a phenomenon that is clung to and subject to clinging (upādinnupādāniya): [by way of] postnascence (pacchājāta) [and] nutriment (āhāra).
