[1675] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is defiled and subject to defilement (saṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) is a condition, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is defiled and subject to defilement.
One relishes and delights in lust (rāga); taking that as object, lust arises, wrong view (diṭṭhi) arises, doubt (vicikicchā) arises, restlessness (uddhacca) arises, grief (domanassa) arises. One relishes wrong view … taking doubt as object … taking restlessness as object … taking grief as object …
