[1709] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is undefiled and not subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-asaṅkilesika) is a condition, by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is undefiled but subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika). Postnascent: aggregates (khandhā) that are undefiled and not subject to defilement are a condition, by postnascence condition, for this prenascent body.
