[1694] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is undefiled and not subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-asaṅkilesika) is a condition for a phenomenon that is undefiled and not subject to defilement by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya):
The preceding aggregates (khandhā) that are undefiled and not subject to defilement are a condition for the succeeding aggregates that are undefiled and not subject to defilement by immediacy condition. The path (magga) is a condition for fruition (phala), and fruition is a condition for fruition, by immediacy condition.
