[1096] A phenomenon leading to accumulation (ācayagāmī dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon leading to accumulation by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati) and conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Having given a gift (dāna), having undertaken virtue (sīla), having performed the uposatha observance (uposatha-kamma), one esteems that and reviews it; one esteems what was formerly practiced and reviews it; having emerged from jhāna, one esteems the jhāna and reviews it. Esteeming the aggregates (khandhā) leading to accumulation, one relishes them and delights in them; when that has been esteemed, lust (rāga) arises, view (diṭṭhi) arises.
Conascence-predominance: Predominance leading to accumulation is a condition for the associated aggregates by predominance condition.
