[150] A phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition for a phenomenon accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati) and conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Having given a gift (dāna), having undertaken virtue (sīla), having performed the uposatha observance, esteeming it, one reviews it; esteeming deeds formerly well done, one reviews them; having emerged from a jhāna accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought … from the path (magga) … from fruition (phala) … esteeming the fruition, one reviews it; esteeming the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought, one relishes them and delights in them; esteeming that, lust (rāga) arises, wrong view (diṭṭhi) arises.
Conascence-predominance: a predominance accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition for the associated aggregates by way of predominance condition.
