[170] A phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta) — these phenomena (dhammā) are a condition for a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya).
Object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati): having given weight to the aggregates (khandhā) with thought-conception and discursive thought and to thought-conception, aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought arise.
