Paccanīyapaṭṭhāna

[146] A phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), are a condition for a phenomenon accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya). Taking as object both the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought and thought-conception (vitakka), aggregates accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought arise.
