[145] Phenomena (dhammā) without thought, with examination only (avitakka-vicāramatta), and phenomena without thought and without examination (avitakka-avicāra), are a condition, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), for a phenomenon with thought and examination (savitakka-savicāra) and for a phenomenon without thought, with examination only.
Taking as object the aggregates (khandhā) that are without thought, with examination only, and examination (vicāra), there arise aggregates with thought and examination, and thought (vitakka).
