Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 147

[147] A phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without thought-conception and with discursive thought only (avitakka-vicāramatta) are a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception and with discursive thought only by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); that is, thought-conception (vitakka) arises taking as object the aggregates (khandhā) that are with thought-conception and discursive thought, together with thought-conception.
