Paccanīyapaṭṭhāna

[171] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), are a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought, by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya). Object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati): having given weight to the aggregates (khandha) with thought-conception and discursive thought and to thought-conception (vitakka), thought-conception arises.
