[172] Phenomena (dhammā) with thought (vitakka) and examination (vicāra) and those without thought, with examination only, are a condition for a phenomenon with thought and examination and for a phenomenon without thought, with examination only, by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya).
Object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati): having given weight to the aggregates (khandhā) with thought and examination and to thought, there arise aggregates with thought and examination, and thought.
