Paccanīyapaṭṭhāna

[173] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition for a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). The preceding aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought are a condition for the subsequent aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought by immediacy condition. Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū); conformity, for cleansing (vodāna); change-of-lineage, for the path with thought-conception and discursive thought; cleansing, for the path with thought-conception and discursive thought; the path with thought-conception and discursive thought, for the fruition (phala) with thought-conception and discursive thought; the fruition with thought-conception and discursive thought, for the fruition with thought-conception and discursive thought; conformity is a condition for the attainment of fruition (phala-samāpatti) with thought-conception and discursive thought by immediacy condition.
