[194] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought and examination (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without thought, with examination only (avitakka-vicāramatta), are a condition for a phenomenon without thought, with examination only, by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya).
Each preceding set of aggregates with thought and examination, together with the thought (vitakka), are a condition for each subsequent thought by immediacy condition.
The death consciousness (cuticitta) with thought and examination, and the thought, are a condition for the rebirth consciousness (upapatticitta) without thought, with examination only, by immediacy condition.
