[312] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition, by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought and for a phenomenon without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta).
The successively preceding aggregates (khandhā) with thought-conception and discursive thought are a condition, by repetition condition, for the successively subsequent aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought and for thought-conception (vitakka).
Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) and for thought-conception; conformity, for cleansing (vodāna) and for thought-conception; change-of-lineage, for the path (magga) with thought-conception and discursive thought and for thought-conception; cleansing is a condition, by repetition condition, for the path with thought-conception and discursive thought and for thought-conception.
