[177] A phenomenon with thought and with examination (savitakka-savicāra dhamma) is a condition, by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya), for a phenomenon with thought and with examination and for a phenomenon without thought, with examination only (avitakka-vicāramatta).
The successively preceding aggregates (khandhā) with thought and with examination are a condition, by immediacy condition, for the successively subsequent aggregates with thought and with examination and for thought (vitakka). Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) and for thought; conformity for cleansing (vodāna) and for thought; change-of-lineage for the path (magga) with thought and with examination and for thought; cleansing for the path with thought and with examination and for thought; the path with thought and with examination for the fruition (phala) with thought and with examination and for thought; the fruition with thought and with examination for the fruition with thought and with examination and for thought; conformity for the attainment of fruition (phala-samāpatti) with thought and with examination and for thought — by immediacy condition.
