[313] A phenomenon (dhamma) without applied thought and with mere sustained thought (avitakka-vicāramatta) is a condition for a phenomenon without applied thought and with mere sustained thought by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya).
Each preceding applied thought (vitakka) is a condition for each subsequent applied thought by repetition condition.
Each preceding set of aggregates (khandhā) without applied thought and with mere sustained thought is a condition for each subsequent set of aggregates without applied thought and with mere sustained thought by repetition condition.
