Paccanīyapaṭṭhāna

[323] A phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta) and a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra) are a condition, by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought and a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought. The successively preceding aggregates (khandhā) without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought, together with discursive thought, are a condition, by repetition condition, for the successively subsequent aggregates without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought and for discursive thought.
