Paccanīyapaṭṭhāna

[322] A phenomenon (dhamma) without thought (vitakka), with examination (vicāra) only, and a phenomenon without thought and without examination, are a condition, by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought and without examination. The aggregates (khandhā) without thought, with examination only, arising earlier and earlier, together with examination, are a condition, by repetition condition, for the examination arising later and later.
