[1261] A phenomenon (dhamma) of one in training (sekkha) is a condition for a phenomenon of one in training by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya): proximity decisive support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive support: The first path is a condition for the second path by decisive-support condition; the second path is a condition for the third path by decisive-support condition; the third path is a condition for the fourth path by decisive-support condition; the path is a condition for the fruition attainment (phalasamāpatti) of one in training by decisive-support condition.
