[156] A phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition for a phenomenon accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought, for a phenomenon without thought-conception and with only discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), and for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya).
Conascent predominance (sahajātādhipati): the predominance accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for the aggregates associated with the predominance, for thought-conception (vitakka), and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
