[223] Phenomena (dhammā) without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta) together with phenomena without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra) are a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought and for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya). One aggregate (khandha) without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought, together with discursive thought (vicāra), is a condition for three aggregates and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by connascence condition. Three aggregates together with discursive thought are a condition for one aggregate and for mind-originated forms by connascence condition. Two aggregates together with discursive thought are a condition for two aggregates and for mind-originated forms by connascence condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), one aggregate without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought, together with discursive thought, is a condition for three aggregates and for kamma-born forms (kaṭattā-rūpa) by connascence condition. Two aggregates … At the moment of rebirth-linking, one aggregate without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought, together with the base (vatthu), is a condition for three aggregates and for discursive thought by connascence condition. Two aggregates together with the base are a condition for two aggregates and for discursive thought by connascence condition.
