[2245] An invisible, non-impinging (anidassana-appaṭigha) phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition for an invisible, non-impinging phenomenon by presence condition (atthi-paccaya): conascent, postnascent, nutriment, faculty.
Conascent: one invisible, non-impinging aggregate (khandha) is a condition, by presence condition, for the three aggregates and for the invisible, non-impinging mind-originated material phenomena (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); two aggregates … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), the water element (āpo-dhātu) is a condition for the invisible, non-impinging mind-originated material phenomena and kamma-born material phenomena (kaṭattā-rūpa) that are derivative materiality (upādā-rūpa); and the water element is a condition, by presence condition, for the faculty and for edible food (kabaḷiṅkārāhāra). External [materiality] … nutriment-originated … temperature-originated …
As for the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the water element is a condition for the invisible, non-impinging kamma-born material phenomena.
Prenascent: [one contemplates] the base (vatthu) … the femininity faculty (itthindriya), the masculinity faculty (purisindriya), the life faculty (jīvitindriya), the water element … edible food as impermanent …; grief (domanassa) arises.
The base is a condition, by presence condition, for the invisible, non-impinging aggregates.
Postnascent: the invisible, non-impinging aggregates are a condition, by presence condition, for this prenascent, invisible, non-impinging body. Edible food is a condition, by presence condition, for this invisible, non-impinging body. The material life faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya) is a condition, by presence condition, for the invisible, non-impinging kamma-born material phenomena.
In this way the remaining six questions should be analyzed; conascent, postnascent, nutriment, and also faculty should be done.
