[240] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is without thought-conception and has mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta) is a condition for a phenomenon that is without thought-conception and has mere discursive thought and for a phenomenon that is without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), by mutuality condition (aññamañña-paccaya).
One aggregate (khandha) that is without thought-conception and has mere discursive thought is a condition for three aggregates and for discursive thought (vicāra), by mutuality condition; two aggregates are a condition for two aggregates and for discursive thought, by mutuality condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), one aggregate that is without thought-conception and has mere discursive thought is a condition for three aggregates, for discursive thought, and for the base (vatthu), by mutuality condition; two aggregates are a condition for two aggregates, for discursive thought, and for the base, by mutuality condition.
