[330] A phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition, by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought-conception, with only discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta): conascent (sahajāta), asynchronous (nānākkhaṇika).
Conascent: volition (cetanā) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition, by kamma condition, for thought-conception (vitakka). At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), volition accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition, by kamma condition, for thought-conception.
Asynchronous: volition accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition, by kamma condition, for resultant (vipāka) thought-conception.
