[331] A phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra) by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya) — conascent (sahajāta) and asynchronous (nānākhaṇika).
Conascent: volition (cetanā) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by kamma condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), volition accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition for forms produced by kamma performed (kaṭattā-rūpa) by kamma condition.
Asynchronous: volition accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought is a condition for the resultant (vipāka) aggregates without thought-conception and without discursive thought, and for forms produced by kamma performed, by kamma condition.
