[333] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought and examination (savitakkasavicāra) is a condition, by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought, with examination only (avitakkavicāramatta), and for a phenomenon without thought and without examination (avitakka-avicāra) — conascent (sahajāta) and asynchronous (nānākhaṇika).
Conascent: volition (cetanā) with thought and examination is a condition, by kamma condition, for thought (vitakka) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa). At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), volition with thought and examination is a condition, by kamma condition, for thought and for kamma-born forms (kaṭattārūpa).
Asynchronous: volition with thought and examination is a condition, by kamma condition, for resultant (vipāka) thought and for kamma-born forms.
