[442] A phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception (vitakka) and without discursive thought (vicāra) is a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya); is a condition by way of prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya).
