[681] A phenomenon (dhammo) to be abandoned by development (bhāvanā) is a condition for a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing (dassana) by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya). Object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati): having given weight to lust (rāga) that is to be abandoned by development, one relishes it and delights in it; having given weight to that, lust to be abandoned by seeing arises, wrong view (diṭṭhi) arises.
