[810] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), there arises a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development — not by dissociation condition (na-vippayutta-paccaya).
In the immaterial [plane] (arūpe): dependent on one aggregate (khandha) with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development, three aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates … external (bāhira) … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) … of the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) … .
Dependent on a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development, there arises a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka) — not by dissociation condition.
In the immaterial [plane]: dependent on the delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates [arise].
Dependent on a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development, there arises a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by mental development (bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) — not by dissociation condition.
In the immaterial [plane]: dependent on the delusion accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), the associated aggregates [arise].
