[850] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), there arises a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development — not by kamma condition (na-kammapaccayā).
Conditioned by aggregates (khandhā) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, [there arises] volition (cetanā) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development; external … nutriment-originated … temperature-originated … conditioned by the base (vatthu), [there arises] volition whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development.
Conditioned by a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, there arises a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka) — not by kamma condition.
